​Nate Swift

This series was created due to the resurgence of Nate’s passion for photography after a difficult year with complications of his mental health which led to a creative decline, and with it, a lack of photographic content present in Nate’s life. Additionally, Nate’s primary project around this period was the ‘UTOPIA’ series, which held a dedication towards the power of observation; therefore, Nate’s observational tendencies improved, resulting in the constant thought of ‘I wish I had my camera with me’, when he spotted something that intrigued him. The series revolves around simply taking his digital camera with him and shooting his surroundings candidly, as an ongoing project.
